General (Retired) Adem Mohammed is an Ethiopian politician and former military officer who previously served as Director of the country's National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS).

• Major General/ Deputy Commander, United Nations Interim Security Force in Abyei (?-2013)

• Major General and later Lieutenant General/ Commander, Ethiopian Air Force (2013-18)

• General/ Director NISS (2018-19)

• Board Member in military-owned Metals & Engineering Corporation (MeTEC) (2018-?)

• Chief of General Staff, Ethiopian National Defence Force (2019-21)

• Ambassador to Turkey (2021-present)

Miscellaneous: He received the gift of an American C-130 military cargo plane from the US during his last day in office as Air Force chief and concurrent first day as NISS Director
