Adib Fahim is a former Deputy Director General (DDG) in Afghanistan's defunct intelligence agency, the National Directorate of Security (NDS). He is the son of Afghanistan's deceased former Vice President, Mohammad Qasim Fahim.
Besides his native Tajik, Fahim is proficient in Pashto, Dari, Urdu and Arabic languages.
