Bidhankumar Rawal, commonly referred to as Bidhan Rawal, is a former Additional Secretary of India's Research & Analysis Wing (R&AW).

Rawal was directly recruited to the Research & Analysis Service (RAS) cadre in 1973 and retired in 2010.

Known Academic History:-

• Schooling from Rosary High School, Baroda, Gujarat (1966)

• Bachelors in Economics from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (1967-71)

Known Professional History: Postings for liaison in senior levels at Indian diplomatic missions in Tokyo (Japan), Port Louis (Mauritius), Thimphu (Bhutan) and Hong Kong SAR (China).
