Former SID chief (Singapore)
Chee Wee Kiong is a retired Brigadier of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) and former chief of the country's external intelligence agency, the Security and Intelligence Division (SID).
Known Academic History:-
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with First Class Honours from the University of London on SAF Overseas Scholarship (1985)
Air Defence Artillery training both locally and in the US Army Air Defence Artillery School including the US Air Command and Staff Course (period not known)
Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore (1994)
Master of Public Administration from Harvard University (1998)
Known Professional History:-
Commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the SAF (1982)
Varied appointments in different ranks including Deputy Head Air Operations Department, Commander Singapore Air Defence Artillery, Commander Air Defence Brigade, Head Air Plans Department and Head Joint Plans Department (1992-2000)
