Eddie Teo
Former SID and ISD chief (Singapore)
Eddie Teo Chan Seng, populary referred to as Eddie Teo, is a Singaporean civil servant. He is a former chief of both the Security and Intelligence Division (SID) and Internal Security Department (ISD).

Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University, UK on a President's Scholarship (1970)
Master of Science in International Relations from the University of London, UK (1974)

Permanent Secretary of Defence (1994-2000)
Permanent Secretary in the Prime Minister's Office (1998-2005); this was his last assignment before retirement from public service

Chairman of the Public Service Commission (2008-18)
Chairman of the Presidential Council for Religious Harmony (2017-19)
Member of the Council of Presidential Advisers (2018-19)
Senior Advisor of Temasek International Advisors Pte Ltd (2019-20)

Miscellaneous: During Teo’s headship of SID, the organisation was involved in training and arming non-Communist resistance forces of Cambodia against invasion by Vietnamese forces (1979)
